Classes or Courses? |

The difference between classes and courses with us is that classes are run ongoing and are usually open to enrol students either ongoing or at certain times of the year, whereas courses usually have a finite time scale in weeks or months and have a fixed goal at the end or time-specific objective.
Classes are committed to ongoing excellence and persistent improvement of the topic taught. Courses are committed to providing a set content specific to the group attending and as much will be taught during the fixed period of the course as possible.
Courses are usually measured in weeks or months, classes in years.
Both types of tuition have benefits since some people are not in a position to make a long term commitment and courses can satisfy a specific need or desire.
Classes are more for people who want an ongoing opportunity to improve their skills and are more popular with people who have a general interest or more precisely, several specific interests.
Courses will be themed such as “Self-Defence” or “Fitness & Agility” where as classes will cover a broader spectrum and although will include these things, they will be incorporated with a more compete curriculum.
In a sense, courses provide a solution to a specific interest or need, but classes provide a generic solution including a more comprehensive training system, and although things on courses are often covered in classes they are spread to accommodate a wider range of skills.
